Tolle Unterkunft wenn man etwas Ruhiges sucht und naturverbunden ist. Die Gastgeberin ist auch eine sehr hilfreiche und liebe Dame und hat mir gleich einen Transport von der Bushaltestelle zur Unterkunft und zurück organisiert. Ab und zu treiben sich auch wilde Elefanten in dem nahegelegenen Waldstück umher da sie ganz gern an den Palmen und Bäumen der nahegelegenen Plantage knabbern. Das Zelt ist sehr bequem und angenehm groß für eine Person.

− Einziges Manko war die Toiletten und Duschanlage, da kein Klopapier zur Verfügung gestellt wurde und sich in der Dusche die Ameisen gern mal einen als Rettungsinsel nutzen wenn man duscht.

Located in a beautiful area, overlooking the jungle. Consists of raised platforms with tents. A bit of a bohemian atmosphere.

− This could've been a great place to stay. Unfortunately, not the case. Khao Sok in general is a money making machine, and this place is the same. Food bland and more expensive than in the village, all trips and excursions more expensive, as well as have overheard other tourists complaining about the low quality. We booked transportation for departure in advance, only to be told the evening of our last day that we'd have to pay more, due to "insert_random_reason_here". We did not accept, went to the village and literally the first place we asked was cheaper than the initial offer we got. Last but not least, we arrived to find that our initial booking was ignored and out of 3 tents, one was changed to a smaller one. Ok, fine, let's say we'd accept that. However, all tents, especially this last one, had many many holes everywhere, so we had to spend an hour during our first day sewing holes to avoid mosquitos. The bathrooms are.. as you imagine. To top it off, to the edge of the property, the mountain of garbage thrown towards the jungle.

When booking a tent stay here, it is exactly as one would expect. It is basic but that is what you pay for. Toilets and shower work fine and the tent also comes with a fan. The food cooked by the staff is absolutely amazing and the proprietor is an extremely kind and helpful lady who would always offer us free bananas!

− It is located far from khao sok village, though this is perfect if you would like a more relaxed and quiet stay I think
