Lovely peaceful and restful stay in simple luxury and a great location
10.0This was a return visit after 14 years - and I was looking forward to the peaceful and calm environment at the Fateh Garh - it is in a great location, overlooking the Pichola lake and mountains, but away from the noise and bustle of the city. Some reviews cite the lack of entertainments etc, but to me that is the attraction. Staff are very attentive and helpful and go out of their way to meet any special requests, with a particular mention due for Hansraj and Karan in meeting any such requests. Great swimming pool also!

8.0The display in breakfast was optimal although the food was tasty and well prepared. Spa was good and hygienic.
− If you are travelling with a pet then be clear to talk to the hotel and sort out before travel. We paid for the pet stay 3000 rupees with additional GST per night but the hotel still had reservations against the pet. Although they state that the hotel is pet friendly but it isn’t. So be careful.

10.0The hotel is at the top of a hill with a breathtaking view of the lake over the infinity pool. There's a lot of local art that really makes the place magical. Maybe a silly detail: the hand soap provided in the bedrooms is the best smelling soap I have ever encountered in my life. I wish I could buy some for my house! The spa was also a great experience and fairly affordable.
− The hotel is a little far from the city of Udaipur itself so it takes a bit of driving to get there.

9.0Nice Facility. The Manager was very helpful and accommodating. The housekeeping, Restaurant staff, everyone were very helpful. The location you can literally see the entire Udaipur and in the night it's just wonderful. Dinner under the light of the Stars, food was good. I wish they had more selection of wine but I guess it's the lack of market but regardless the Chardonnay I got did the Job. Our Suite had a Personal Pool, And they even accommodated us for breakfast room service. We also had the classic car rides and enjoyed it a lot. Simply Put, a lot to do and you can easily spend 4-5 nights and still wanting more. Thank you for your Hospitality, I will see you next time in Udaipur!!!
