Traum !
Little paradise getaway, proper island life.
10.0Amazing eco-accommodation!! Relaxing spot with beautiful surroundings. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hosts Marilyn and Leo were exceptional, helped with our every need including pick up in the early hours from the ferry port. Perfect location to having a Romblon Island hopping tour ran by their son. 100% recommend this property, you will not regret it.
− Having to leave

A dream come true – we never wanted to leave!
10.0We originally booked just two nights at Tina oog Beach Resort, but ended up staying four nights, because this place is simply unforgettable. Chris and her team are absolutely amazing. You can immediately feel the passion and care that goes into running this little paradise. The secluded bay with the bamboo bungalows is just stunning – a true hidden gem. The bamboo bungalows are beautifully and thoughtfully designed. They have a compost toilet and a shower – the water is cold, but at these tropical temperatures, it’s really not an issue. The beds come with mosquito nets, making for a perfectly comfortable stay. We tried both types of bungalows: The shared bathroom bungalows have a private toilet for each party, while the shower and sink are shared. The private bungalows come with your own bathroom. Since we extended our stay spontaneously, we got to experience both – and honestly, both were wonderful. The meals are almost like a small full-board setup. Breakfast: We mostly chose omelettes with bread, along with fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. Lunch: You could also have a meal at lunchtime. We usually had a small snack, but Chris could prepare a warm meal or fresh fruit, depending on what was available. Dinner: We mostly went for freshly caught fish straight from the sea, including tuna or octopus on some evenings. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and prepared with love, and everything is very reasonably priced. We also treated ourselves to a massage almost every day, which made our stay even more perfect. Getting there: You can either take the resort’s own boat from Romblon island (around 1000 Peso, fast and comfortable) or the local boat, which runs once daily at 2 PM. If you take the local boat, it’s important to arrive early to secure a seat. The ride is inexpensive and a fun little adventure. The nearest fishing village is a 15–20 minute walk away, with a few small kiosks – charming and very authentic.
− Improvement suggestion: A pavilion for the massages would be a dream and make the experience even more comfortable.

10.0I have never seen so much biodiversity in one place. Fish constantly jumping out of the water, tuna passing by, a dolphin, a turtle, kingfishers, bats, giant geckos...everything! The bungalows are beautiful. All solar powered and compost toilets - very nice and clean. Stunning sunsets from an essentially private beach. The food was very good, and the hospitality excellent. The island hoping was fun: in addition to the great snorkelling in front of the lodge, the marine park around the corner from the lodge has excellent snorkelling, and the final stop on Romblon island was also excellent: we saw small black tipped reef sharks. The lodge rent mask and fins and have a kayak and paddleboard.. A nature lover's dream!
− Be careful of small boats passing in front of the lodge when snorkelling further out than the headland. Would suggest bringing an inflatable buoy, or sticking to the bays.
