Not worth it
4.0After reading all the reviews we were really excited to spend our time at Kintala. Thus a big disappointed at the end and just an average to below average experience … checkin was super smooth and since we paid in advance , nothing we had to do. Keys were there, super smooth. We stayed in The Castle. First slap we got after entering the chalet - a horrible horrible horrible smell, coming apparently from the bathroom. Smelled like painted walls or similar, a smell you get dizzy from. We couldn’t really find out what it was but it was… horrible. Secondly, the chalet was super hot, comparing to outside where it was a nice summer temperature, so we could enjoy sitting outside- that was really nice. The chalet had jacuzzi which was on the other side super nice and one of least highlights. Around 8 PM our neighbor started to set the grill which caused a lot of smoke running into our chalet (the chalets are super close so you don’t have much privacy). This was disgusting and should really not be permitted, especially to individuals who have no clue of grilling. The smell went inside and mixed with the other smell from before - nice cocktail. 😆 disgusting…. Third slap, in the night a crazy noise woke us up, we couldn’t really locate it , sounded like a motorbike but could also be something else. It was super loud and at the property. well, and the mess behind the chalet is also something you don’t want to see, is it. So after all, for the price we paid not worth it… maybe we were just that one out of hundred experience but for sure one that will never ever return back here.
