Cosy Yurt and Beautiful Surroundings
10.0We had a wonderful two night stay. Slept really soundly, and enjoyed hearing the birds on waking. We saw koookaburras, whip birds and a scarlet honeyeater. Seeing the local kangaroos grazing throughout the day was also a huge treat. The yurt itself was thoughtfully decorated. We enjoyed lounging in the bean bags and playing a game of Scrabble. We wondered if we may feel cold but not to worry as the yurt was cosy, and there were heaters and extra blankets should we need. We enjoyed the breakfast hamper, especially the pancakes. And I must confess to having way too many marshmallows in the hot chocolate probided. We had a lovely walk through the national park to the country markets on Saturday, and can also highly recommend the Pomona Distillery.

10.0Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with spacious and comfortable beds. There was attention to detail and thoughtfulness in amenities provided and breakfast was delicious! The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, generous and very kind. A nice surprise to see kangaroos grazing outside the yurt in the morning. A true home away from home yet only a couple of minutes from the gorgeous little town of Pomona.
