− Upon check-in, I found that the accommodation did not meet even the minimum standards of habitability, as clearly evidenced by the photographs I took at the time. Due to these unacceptable conditions, I informed the owner on the same day, at approximately 6:00 PM, that I would not be staying at the property and returned the key immediately. As a result, I was forced to find alternative accommodation at my own expense. Given the circumstances, I requested a full refund for the reservation, as the property failed to provide acceptable conditions for the stay that had been booked. I also contacted Booking.com in an attempt to resolve the issue. However, I was informed that the matter would have to be settled directly with the accommodation provider. Despite sending several messages to the property, I received no response and was unable to obtain a refund. In summary, I paid for accommodation that did not meet basic habitability standards and where I did not spend even one hour. Booking.com also failed to provide the level of support I reasonably expected in this situation. In my opinion, greater oversight should be exercised regarding the minimum standards that partner properties are required to meet. The property did not provide bed sheets or towels, and the rubbish bins had not even been emptied before my arrival, indicating a complete lack of basic cleanliness and readiness for guests. The photographs speak for themselves and clearly demonstrate the extremely poor condition of the accommodation.

10.0This is the best place to stay for me every year in Koh Lipe for the past 12 years, and will be closed this 31 May 2026. The End Of An Era. So sad...

− It wasn’t at all what I thought it would be but hey $40 a night is cheap and great if you are happy with it the property all’s need cleaning up

− La vue est gâchée par les bateaux , cela n’a pas été mentionné , idem avec les bruits de moteur toute la journée , insectes et autres dans la douche mais cela reste correct quand même
