An Unforgettable Eco-Luxury Masterpiece – Ask for Ravi!
10.0Our stay at Jetwing Vil Uyana was nothing short of magical, but what truly elevated our experience from standard luxury to a once-in-a-lifetime memory was our incredible butler, Ravi. From the very moment we stepped onto the property, Ravi went above and beyond. On day one, he personally took care of our bags, gave us an incredibly thorough and detailed walkthrough of our beautiful chalet, mapped out the perfect local sightseeing recommendations, and even surprised us with a bottle of excellent Australian wine to welcome us. His attentiveness over our stay was world-class. He served us personally for every single meal, from breakfast to dinner, ensuring everything was flawlessly executed. When we wanted to do something special, Ravi organized a breathtaking, deeply romantic private dinner for us in a completely secluded spot away from all the other guests. He even hand-delivered room service to our deck and quickly took away the plates to ensure the resident wildlife wouldn't disturb us. To top off his amazing care, when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our chalet, he was there in minutes to save the day with a smile. Even on our final morning, knowing we had an incredibly early departure, Ravi was up before dawn to bring a beautifully prepared breakfast box right to us at 5:00 AM so we wouldn't travel hungry. Jetwing Vil Uyana is a stunning, peaceful natural sanctuary, but it is the elite hospitality of staff like Ravi that makes it world-class. If you are staying here, do yourself a huge favor and request Ravi as your butler. Thank you, Ravi, for making our stay unforgettable! We will absolutely be back.
One of Sri Lanka’s most impressive hotels
10.0An exceptional eco lodge. Rooms were spacious and unique - even though they’re technically designed for two people, our lodge worked very well for our family of four. The lake fronting the pool had cormorants and other birds that could be viewed while swimming. There were several peacocks around the property, grey langur monkeys just hanging out in the trees and we did the nighttime walk through the property’s trails to see the slender loris (which we found!). The on-site restaurant served an outstanding breakfast and was great for evenings. It’s not the cheapest place in Sigiriya by a long stretch but it felt like good value for the experience and everything you get.

10.0We had an absolutely fantastic time - the level of service was absolutely exceptional, and the accommodation and food were also fantastic. We had a great time on the morning birdwatching trips. 100% would recommend.
