9.0Central location, eg 20-30mins from majority of attractions in the area such as Eden Project, Padstow, slip n slides and several fantastic beaches. There's supermarkets big and small within easy reach too. The lodge itself is very spacious and allowed 8 of us to relax with a great view over a small lake watching the ducklings. The facilities on the site were great, the FlowRider and Aquapark were fun and we also used the pool. There is a playground and tennis courts and the onsite bar/restaurant was pleasant.
Perfect family holiday
8.0Perfect lodge location for me for my social media dancing as aesthetically it was beautiful. Lodge was well stocked with everything we needed for our family if not over stocked so no kid had to scramble for a cup. Communication was fantastic from start to end and answered all questions very quickly.
− Beds were very hard , resort lacked free things for teenagers . But certainly wouldnt put us off coming again as the sofas were super comfortable and everything else made up for hard beds and teens moaning occasionally before they remembered the hot tub and pool table !
Nice place but facilities need attention
3.0The lodge was in a lovely location on the site , quite and private.
− The boiler was broken so no hot water for the majority of the stay, the cooker was missing buttons, which meant we could not set the clock, which meant we had no cooking facilities, a lead was missing from the tv so it couldnt be used and the batteries in the remote control did not work. Along with the dogs finding chocolate under one of beds in the dog friendly bedrooms.
The best holiday we have had in Cornwall and I highly recommend this property.
9.0View, size of property, hot tub. Very peaceful and calming. Pool table was a welcome addition.
− Bed in master was not that comfortable and some of the cutlery was dirty. Couldn’t use pizza cooker or bbq as they were very rusty/grimy.

Average property, very dated, in need of a complete makeover.
6.0Great hot tub, lovely view, pool table, two living rooms.
− Dated decor, bathrooms had crumbling tile grout and water damage/swelling at the base of the toilet unit, cobwebs at ceiling level throughout. Kitchen utensils were poor, no chopping board, only a glass worktop saver (blunts knives in seconds), non stick pans were old and past their best. Freezer door not attached to integrated cupboard door. Bedside lamp in upstairs double falling apart with live wire visible.
