− The rooms are basic and could have been cleaned better while we stayed there. For example, the bins were not emptied and the towels not replaced.
A Tranquil Retreat Near Santiniketan
9.0This resort is a true hidden gem, located just outside Santiniketan, far from the city's hustle and bustle, yet close enough to explore the top attractions. I visited from Canada and had an unforgettable experience with my extended family from Kolkata. The traditional Bengali villas were a perfect blend of comfort and nature, offering a unique connection to both the culture of Tagore and family bonding. The peaceful and tranquil environment made it feel like a home away from home. The home-cooked Bengali meals were exceptional, featuring fresh, organic vegetables, fish, and poultry. Every bite was a delight, and the authenticity of the flavors made it even more special. The property owner and staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always going the extra mile to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning whenever we visit India again. It was the perfect place to recharge, relax, and spend quality time with loved ones.
