3.0Location was fine, good access into sigiriya and other nearby towns
− This hotel has an elephant chained up - make sure you're comfortable with this before booking. Could be beneficial for the staff to learn more about nearby attractions. We felt slightly smothered by the team always being around us; some more privacy would have been nice. Shower room quite damp and leaky!
Nice one night stay in Habarana
7.0Good location , however we only stayed one night instead of the two nights I had booked. We had actually done all the activities we had planned to do from Sigirya , so we decided to move on to polonnarawa the next day . The lady looking after us kindly moved us to a better room after we asked - original room was very clean but the damp smell was a bit offsetting. We moved to a Lovely big room - white clean sheets. Good breakfast and one evening meal . Very very helpful staff on site - really could not be more helpful. They have an elephant on site , she was lovely to see .

Lovely spot, needs improvement to make it habitable.
5.0Manager Selvi was very nice and keen to please and location is lovely with monkeys, peacocks and an elephant roaming the grounds!
− Hate to leave a bad review but honestly the rooms were coated in black mould and smelt terrible - Selvi said it was temporary and they would dry out but in fairness to other travellers - you need to be aware!

8.0We really enjoyed it. Very good for children because they have a friendly elephant🐘.my children had elephant riding and elephant bathing. Nice swimming pool and very friendly staff ( manager Sister selvei very helpful) i really recommend this place
