6.0Pool was great, staff was nice, and the place was very kid-friendly.
− The room was dirty and outdated. No sink by toilet, shower got cold after 3 minutes, very hard bed, restaurant seemed out of stock on every popular dish. Also, breakfast included wasn’t good value. Location-wise I’d say they have amazing sunsets and a decent beach nearby, but apart from that they have nothing else going on.
La Joya is a little oasis with beautiful grounds and wonderful attentive staff.
8.0La Joya is an oasis in Uluwatu. Its proximity to Balangan beach is great, especially if you enjoy surfing. The customer service, house keeping and hospitality were top notch. The mature gardens are so beautifully kept and it is a very peaceful hotel. Both swimming pools are a very good size.
− We stayed in the family bungalow. We have two small children and felt the steps to access were not very child friendly. We also felt a bit nervous with the children on the balcony due to large gaps. The traditional style architecture was charming but our bungalow appeared a bit more dated compared to others. Despite this, we had a comfortable stay and would happily return.
The people made this stay at the accommodation.
