8.0The shepherd's hut was lovely, clean and comfortable - set in its own field, lovely and peaceful
− I don't feel the description makes it clear that the bathroom is not attached to the hut. Although a private bathroom, it is on the side of the field and a short walk away from the hut. Also, the shower was either scolding or cold. The hut also advertises a kitchenette - but their is no fridge to store anything - the host got us a cool box and a bag of ice.
Super stay.
9.0We enjoyed a one night stay here in June when it was very warm weather. The hut coped well in the heat and was such a lovely place to stay, very clean, with so much outside space;very relaxing and quiet. We were delighted to see hares. The bed was comfortable, shower hut was great, and the friendly black cat showing up very welcome. Toni offered a cool box and ice if we needed it, and there was a fan inside the hut. Toni was an excellent host. Would return. I imagine the hut in winter will be cosy and inviting too with the log burner.
