10.0We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Wild Valley Bunkhouse as a family of four and would highly recommend it. Graeme and Heather were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a delicious freshly baked loaf of bread along with a selection of condiments, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The bunkhouse itself was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. Although compact, it had everything we needed for our stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, fridge freezer, table and chairs, comfortable beds, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into ensuring guests have everything they need. The location was excellent. The surrounding scenery was stunning, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful views on our journeys towards Snowdonia. It also proved to be a great base for exploring the wider area. We took day trips to Liverpool and Chester Zoo, both of which were easily accessible by car. For essentials, the local Spar is only around a 10-minute drive away. Overall, this was excellent value for money and one of the most welcoming places we have stayed. Thank you, Graeme and Heather, for helping to make our family holiday so enjoyable. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

10.0The location is absolutely stunning. So peaceful and picturesque. The communication before we stayed was excellent and Heather and Graeme were on hand if we needed anything. The bunkhouse was exceptionally clean and very well equipped with everything you would need. The fire pit in the garden area was lovely for the evenings. It was specious enough for a family of 4 with full sized single beds and inside table. It was ideally located for Llangollen and also a stunning waterfall nearby. The information book was helpful with walks from the bunkhouse and a pub in under 3 miles walking distance. We were left some lovely Easter treats and the fresh bread, butter and jam was a lovely touch and delicious. We will definitely be back to stay.
