Very very disappointed.
5.0Privacy and location.
− Badly needs renovation. In the garb of maintaining the heritage status, the property has been neglected and is in terrible state. Food Quality was a big big setback. Utensils were very old. Menu was simply a great disaster.
Comfortable stay, would recommend
10.0Anil and Iyyappan were very hospitable and arranged everything we needed. (Taxis, Scooter rental, trips) The local, fresh from the market food was always very enjoyable, made to order.
− Probably with good intentions, I was offered a room in the main historical building after 2 nights which wasn't quite as comfortable due to the ceiling fan making a noise. After I mentioned the ceiling fan I was promptly moved back, so no real complaints.
Nice to relax
8.0The staff, especially Anil, are very welcoming and attending. The breakfast is nice and the meals at dinner better than anything I had in a Restaurant in Goa. Very calm at night.
− The bedsheets were washed but had stains, the light switches in all rooms could need a cleaning. The accomodation is quite isolated, you can't reach anything by foot.
Very disappointig
1.0The old villa was lovely but sadly up keep was poor.
− Rooms said there was fridge, no fridge and told couldn't get one. No shops near to buy chilled water Gates locked so on our evening out called 3 times to ask what time are you coming back ! Dirty around edges we only stayed 1 night then left. Less standard than rooms we pay 3,000 for in the same area.
