Wonderful location and base to explore the ancient city.
8.0The location was superb with stunning views over the lake. Also a wonderful base to explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful and the accommodation was great.
− The pool, while in an amazing location, was very heavily chlorinated which was not very pleasant.

Fun lake house experience
9.0We enjoyed the location on the lake. Thank you for the update grade. The room was very comfortable.
− We booked a few months in advance and were penalized by paying much more than if we booked a week in advance. … and that was for the upgraded room which still cost less than we paid.
Well worth it, stay where Queen Elizabeth stayed in 1954!

Great place to stay to visit the Ancient City of Pollonoruwa
9.0The setting and location are stunning! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake at the sunset. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from to the main entrance of the museum, which was super convenient to visit the Ancient City of Pollonoruwa. We rented the bicycles in the reception. The coffee maker in the room was a plus.
− The menu was limited, and slightly expensive compared to other similar hotels in Sri Lanka.
