Lovely farm and friendly staff but quite different than advertised
6.0Beautiful view from the tree house and nice ambience on the farm. Loved the horses just outside and especially the dining hall staff and cook were very friendly and provided excellent service. The food was good too. Great view of the mountains and sunset from the treehouse terrace. It was definitely a unique experience and I booked it mainly because how often do you get to stay in a tree house with views like that?? It definitely scored on the unique-aspect. Very helpful booking a train for us, as we couldn't access the train page booking due to being foreigners. The driver connected to the hotel was helpful in terms of organising pick-up and drop off for safari, but the pricing seemed to change at whim. Also very helpful that the driver could communicate with the safari guide, if you don't have an Indian phone number. Peaceful during the day, quite a lot of space on the farm. Places to relax, such as the pool and firepit area (though more on the pool below).
− The main downside: The shower did not work with the hot water at all! The water pressure was too low. It may have been expected in a tree house which is very simple and it's impressive how many things were in the tree house to begin with. But not having a working hot shower was quite a bummer. We ended up using a bucket provided, which we filled up with hot water and switched between being under a cold shower and splashing a bit of hot water to rinse from the bucket. The toilet flush was also pretty inconsistent. Given the time of year, it got very cold during the night but there was no heater, so be prepared for that. Also very noisy due to entertainment at a nearby hotel till about 10pm every night. There was no cleaning of the room during the stay, so towels were not changed, and wifi also didn't reach our rooms. Of course there were other things to do (see positives!) but it felt a bit like we'd been sold something else. I think the classification of this being a "resort" is quite a strech and I'd never describe it as such to anyone. The room I booked came with meals (I believe we booked and paid for half-board), but we were charged for all the meals at the end. Ofc we'd expect to pay for extra snacks we'd had during the stay (fair) - BUT also the ones we'd already paid for online? (not so fair). It seemed a bit pointless to argue. Be prepared to haggle about rides and drop-offs, or otherwise just accept that you will probably be overcharged. We were also charged for a few extras at the end, which were non-descript (just "extras") on our additional bill, see photo. I think they explained that it was for the pool. Perhaps to summarize, the communication was not always great, maybe on purpose. To be clear, it's not that we didn't like our stay, it's just that so many things were unexpectedly different than promised that we left with a funny feeling. I think we were had tbh.
Great experience
10.0Had a great experience in Maa Ashapura Resort. I loved the ambience and the property as well. I enjoyed horse riding, and we also enjoyed the pool time. I visited Ranthambore fort as well where I felt delighted and I also experienced the Chambal River excursion which was arranged by Mr Vikram and all thanks to him for that.
Calm and green surroundings – great for relaxing.

Amazing Birthday Staycation
10.0Had an amazing stay at Maa Ashapura Resort, Ranthambore! I had informed just a day before about the birthday decoration for my husband, and the team, especially Ms. Neha, made it happen beautifully near the pool.. The room was clean and spacious, service was great, and horse riding was a fun experience. Thank you, team!
Peaceful stay near the national park
