The hot tub and fire was a cheeky pleasure. Be aware if your 6 foot or taller, you may want to walk around on your knees.

A unique experience

The view was lovely and the addition of the hot tub and wood fire would have been lovely if we had had more favourable weather

− Sadly, the weather was not on our side which we completely understand is NOT the owners fault but given that we couldn't really use the outside space it was quite cramped in the pod itself and seemed smaller in real life than in the photographs.

− Bed was very small but that’s to be expected given the property. Overall, it was great and the amenities were very well thought out.

The perfect hideaway

It's a single track lane up to the property but it's not a long journey and was more than manageable in my 6 metre long campervan. The parking was perfect as well and there's enough room there to turn if necessary. The location is amazing. The way the pod looks is great, it really makes you feel like you're tucked away in a mini wooden cabin somewhere. Walking onto the terrace, you're met with the hot tub (which was turned on for us arriving and absolutely delightful), the log burner (also awesome) and the grill. Then you enter the little pod and it's just perfect in there. The roof and sides are slanted, so if you're a bit taller, make sure you walk more in the middle of the pod to avoid a wee bump here and there. The bed looked so flaming comfy and it lived up to its promise, too. Bathroom was genius, nothing else I can really say about it! Nice and cosy in there and good decor etc. I found everything pretty easy to use and we both had a fantastic night in the pod. The TV, airfryer and the dishwasher are a nice touch too, we all like our comforts. I just had a great time. Ben, the host, was really easy to get in touch with through a message. And we both loved the privacy we were granted as well; no one there to meet us or anything along those lines, just a great place for some real quality time with yourself or someone you love

− Nothing! Honestly. The only advice I'd give is to bring some kind of bug repellent candle or something if you stay in july as the little bugs love to keep you company on the terrace
