A little isolated but a great place to unwind.
8.0This was a 'caravan' - but huge - one of those kinds that doesn't get towed around, more like a tiny home. It has two bedrooms, a small bathroom and even a separate toilet and hand basin ensuite for the main bedroom. The whole caravan is decorated full of comfort with heaps of storage. It felt like coming home. There are books, games, DVDs, a nice wide deck with furniture and, of course, it's near the sea, so we fell asleep listening to the waves. The good sized kitchen is extremely well supplied and it has a full sized fridge/freezer. It also has a dishwasher! Small but very usable. The kettle, toaster, dishes, cups and even the cutlery, all matched in design, which I thought was cute. There are plenty of pots and cooking utensils to use with the gas cooker. The lounge is huge, seating at least 8! There is a dedicated parking space beside it with a lockable post to prevent others using it. Very appreciated. The park has its own Club with a varied menu, a pool, and a playground that was very welcomed by all the kids. There is an extra charge for use of the pool and a communal laundry. Just down the road is a very good Chinese takeaway (they only take cash), a great fish & chip place, and a small, friendly supermarket. And the town of Whitstable is only a short drive away.
− We hadn't realised how far it was from anywhere. We should have done more research, but it was actually a great place to unwind after a couple of days flying from the other side of the world.

Will definitely try and return - but not during a water shortage!
9.0It had everything we needed. Loved the Wrap around lockable balcony for the dog and all the storage and fresh towels.
− We were there during a Kent water shortage which wasn’t ideal and they closed the park facilities for our first 48 hours - not the owners fault bit far from ideal. I think it would benefit from a second bin in the bathroom and an airer and pegs- there is a hair dryer which I don’t think is listed. I couldn’t find a fan which was.

10.0Gill met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. Caravan was lovely and had everything we needed. There is lots of storage and the main bedroom has a great layout. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to sit out on the deck in the sunshine. We were really lucky with the weather. There are also hooks for towels and coats, which many don't have. The shower was a bit hot but Gill and her husband took a look and it may have been that the previous occupants turned the water temp up on the boiler. So fixed quickly. We love the walk into Whitstable along the beach. Plus the caravan is only 15 minutes walk away from the locals we were visiting. Whitstable is very dog friendly too, so he loved the beach and we were able to take him in many shops and pubs.
