10.0This was an amazing experience and so much more than simply a room for the night. The love and hard work that the host family poured into this cabin radiates. Each little decoration or doorknob has a story. It’s beautiful and secluded, but close enough to Guasca and the tourist activities that you can get anything you need with a quick drive. The family are some of the kindest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet, and went out of their way to accommodate myself and my two year old. Getting to know them and spend time in this region was one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. And don’t worry, there’s hot water! Even if you’re planning just to visit Bogota, I recommend you make the drive out here. Experience el campo. Truly unforgettable.
