Great
10.0Location
− Toilet seat broken…. And massive spider in toilet 😂
Lovely stay
8.0Loved the seclusion, all to yourself. Amazing view, very peaceful and quiet. Mini home from home. Perfect staycation. Would stay again.
− It was slightly confusing as to which part to go in to but once we knew, it made complete sense. Few things they could add some final touches/tweaks e.g fresh milk, working lighter for the fire, more in depth clean for those hard to reach spots. Cupboard at the end of the bed was handy as it needed to be open to sleep if you’re over 6ft!
Beautiful situation, great potential but let down by housekeeping and communication.
5.0The views were lovely, peaceful. Clean bathroom. Great potential for a good stay but housekeeping and host communication disappointing.
− The property didn’t feel or look as if it had had a good clean before our arrival. Cobwebs. Dirty windows inside and out. No wine glasses but dirty champagne glasses and only one glass tumbler. There was a piece of broken glass on the crockery shelf. The metal mugs were brown inside - the kettle needed descaling and hot drinks were covered in surface film. Smeary cutlery. Plenty of kindling, firewood and firelighters but the two lighters were empty and there were no matches. The outside metal and wood table and chairs had green and black mould on them. The trough planter on the decking was full of moss and weeds. We messaged the owner through Booking.com and left a phone message asking politely if we could have replacement wine glasses and another tumbler on our first evening but had no response throughout our stay.
Great !!!

10.0Quiet location on a farm. Great views over countryside. Very clean accommodation. Well thought out and equipped. The underfloor heating was very effective. All the equipment and furnishings were of good quality.
− Nothing to dislike.
Awesome little place; host didn’t respond to query.
8.0Spent two nights while visiting Winchester in March 2026. Awesome location, quiet, comfortable, clean & tidy.
− There was a bag of wood for the fire which kept the hut very, very warm (needed the window open), but there was no kindling or fire-starters. I messaged (and emailed) the host in case there was a hidden stash, but had no reply. We went out and got our own.
