5.0זו לא הפעם הראשונה שאנחנו מתארחים בחאן עין גדי, אבל הפעם החוויה הייתה מאכזבת מאוד. ניכר שהמקום הפך לצפוף ועמוס בצורה קיצונית לעומת העבר. התארחנו בוואן שהוסב לחדר כדי לחגוג יום הולדת, ולצערי החגיגה נהרסה. באמצע הלילה בת הזוג שלי התעוררה כשכל הגוף והשיער שלה מלאים בנמלים – חוויה מאוד לא נעימה. נאלצנו באמצע הלילה להתחיל להתנקות ולבקש שיבואו ויטפלו בחדר. חשוב לציין שלא הכנסנו שום אוכל פנימה והחדר היה נקי, אך כשבדקתי מבחוץ ראיתי שיירות גדולות של נמלים שנכנסות פנימה. אין לנו שום בעיה עם טבע ואנחנו לא מתרגשים מנמלים וחרקים בדרך כלל, אך במקרה הזה ניכר שאין הדברה מניעתית מספקת, פשוט הזנחה שהובילה לחוויה קשה. דבר נוסף – המנעול של הדלת היה חצי שבור ולא נפתח מבפנים. מצאנו את עצמנו נעולים בתוך החדר, ורק אחרי התעסקות ארוכה הצלחנו לפתוח את הדלת. ביקשנו שהדבר יתוקן, אך הוא לא תוקן. בשעות הבוקר פנינו לצוות ושאלנו מה הם מתכוונים לעשות עם החוויה הלא נעימה שעברנו בלילה. אמרו לנו שיצרו איתנו קשר, אך לא חזרו אלינו. רק אחרי שבוע, כשאנחנו יצרנו איתם קשר, הציעו לנו ארוחה במתחם – שזה כמובן לא רלוונטי עבורנו מכיוון שאנחנו גרים במרכז.
