10.0J’ai eu la chance de séjourner chez Annick et Jacques, deux personnes absolument formidables, d’une gentillesse et d’une générosité rares. Dès mon arrivée, je me suis sentie accueillie comme un membre de la famille. Annick m’a fait découvrir la Guadeloupe à travers ses merveilleux plats, préparés avec passion, ainsi que ses précieux conseils pour explorer les plus beaux coins de l’île. Chaque moment était une vraie découverte. Les apéros partagés ensemble ont été des moments inoubliables, remplis de rires, d’échanges et de convivialité. Ce sont ces instants simples mais sincères qui rendent un séjour vraiment unique. Voyageant seule, je ne pouvais pas espérer mieux : je me suis sentie en sécurité, entourée et comme chez moi du début à la fin. Un immense merci à vous deux pour votre accueil si chaleureux et ces beaux moments de partage. Je garderai un souvenir précieux de mon passage chez vous.
Perfect Host!
9.0Annick is the perfect host. I did not speak one word of French and her any English, yet we were able to communicate and even have a few laughs using translation on our phones. She and Jacque are very nice and accommodating to guests needs. Very young at heart and I hung out with them a few nights. They know the area very well and can provide recommendations and knowledge to assist your trip. Nice size room and private bathroom. Very clean and we'll maintained property.
− Could use a portable stand fan to improve air flow where you want it. Room did have a ceiling fan. Tip: When using mosquito net, tuck it under the mattress.
Great start for my trip to Guadeloupe
8.0Very welcoming couple who will do the extra step if you need anything. L'accueil guadeloupéen par excellence. Good location to explore the North of Grande-Terre, and not too far away of the northern part of Basse-Terre. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and their own bathroom. The colourful paintings on the walls are made by Annick, and that gives a nice extra touch.
− The house was not easy to find in the dark as I arrived in the late evening. Some additional information on how to find it once you are out of the main road would be helpful.
