A home away from home in the heart of Southern India.
8.0A wonderfully relaxed and welcoming homestay right by Marari Beach. Emma, the unflappable owner, goes out her way to make each guest feel welcome. With excellent knowledge of the area and Kerala in general, Emma generously steers you in the right direction to make your trip more enjoyable. I loved my time at Peacock Villa and look forward to returning.

10.0We had an amazing stay at Peacock Villa! Location superb, so close to the beach and other amenities. Emma, the host, was amazingly helpful and made us a wonderful breakfast each morning.

10.0This place was a total gem right by the beach. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by our host Emma, our room was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed....comfortable bed, great a/c etc. What stood out compared to all the other homestays we have been at was the attention to detail, nothing was broken or rundown, the common areas are beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was included and excellent. Emma is an amazing host, ensuring each guest is provided everything, including arranging transportation and local recommendations.

10.0I had a wonderful stay at Peacock Villa. The villa is beautifully laid out and decorated, very comfortable, clean rooms, and common areas. Location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the beach, local cafes, and the beach sunloungers/umbrellas (available to hire for a few rupees). Breakfast was delicious (great filter coffee!). Emma is lovely and is always on hand to have a chat, help with queries and booking transport. It feels like a home away from home.
