What is the definition of Kitchenette ?
6.0I enjoyed the homestay design, having plenty of space, a big table to sit at, and be surrounded by beautiful jungle-clad limestone hills. The location was ideal as a base to drive into nearby hills and also have shopping malls 10 mins away for takeaways, BECAUSE THERE IS NO COOKER IN THE KITCHENETTE...
− I didn't enjoy finding no cooking facilities, since a kitchenette (the booking.com icon for this is a cooker !) implies to me a microwave and/or hotplate. Fortunately I hadn't invested in uncooked food and there were takeaway options nearby. When I switched on fridge/freezer and opened the door, it smelled bad and the shelves of the fridge had a layer of mould. I also find it tiresome as an international traveller when there is a charge for linen.
