The worst indonesian experience
1.0I don’t think there was anything nice in this place
− After spending in total around 5 months in Indonesia (in budget standard) it was by far my the worst experience. When we arrived, there was nobody inside, some stranger in the street went for someone to open room for us. The room was extremely dirty, a lot of used underwear in the toilet. Disgusting beds, we were afraid to use blankets or anything. Later that night some local women came back to the place, they were drunk and extremely noisy, somebody opened the door to our room, cigarette smoke was coming through the wall (actually hard to call it a wall) we moved out early in the morning, to lovely cheap homestay just in front of this place. Later some local people told me that Se’pon homestay is place for local prostitutes. I’m surprised why this place is rated positively, locals told me it’s a classic, tourists come there to run away in the morning, don’t repeat our mistake.

− Disappointing . The rating given not valid. It was really misleading. The photos showing nice homestay are misleading. Maybe true 3 years ago. The homestay is smelly, the floor sticky, Smells of dog or cat urine. The compound full of rubbish. The building is like an abandoned building. The other rooms has long term tenants. Those tenants are very nice to me.

10.0the owner Manaek is super nice and helpful! the homestay is in walking distance from the bus I arrived from Makassar. Manaek helped me to get motobike rental straight away. highly recommend!
