Looks better in photos than in reality – disappointing stay
6.0The place is nice and quiet.
− Technically, the apartment looks like in the pictures—technically, because once you are there, it is a lot less cozy than it seems. The facilities are outdated. You wouldn't want to use the cutlery and kitchenware without cleaning them first, which gives a very bad impression and makes you doubt the cleanliness of everything. While we were there, they had issues with the water supply. That meant there was barely any water pressure at the taps or in the shower; additionally, we had cold water only. Given that the owners/hosts live right next door, there was no interaction between them and us. It’s usually in situations where things go wrong where you can shine, but they probably just didn't feel like it. If you like it clean and cozy, this is not your place to go.

3.0The view. The house is lovely and spacious.
− The owners should not have rented out the house we were in, with a group booking in the other houses. The group played loud music (until nearly midnight on Sat), and they took over every communal space. The kitchen is very poorly equipped. There was no closed braai grid available even though we chceked this before arrival. The gentlman who welcomed us upon arrival appreared drunk. He was unhelpful during our stay.
