Geweldige plek voor een safari in Yala
9.0De gastheer was heel vriendelijk. We werden ontvangen met een lekker drankje en gelijk afgesproken om de dag erop de hele dag op safari te gaan. De eigenaar heeft een eigen jeep en kent Yala National Park heel goed. Ontbijt in het park gegeten en ook daar de lunch gedaan. We hebben heel veel dieren gezien, inclusief 5 leopards, 2 sloth Bear, olifanten, krokodillen. Het mooie is dat hij echt de tijd ervoor neemt, niet gehaast is en een respectvolle afstand tot de dieren houdt.
− De kamer heeft alleen een ventilator, geen airco.

10.0It was a great location and close to the beach for after Yala activities. I booked my tour to Yala with Santha’s small business and we had a fabulous day! He knew all the best spots and took his time when we were observing all the wildlife. Incredible!

Lovely place to stay - great food, good rooms and safari.
9.0We actually stayed next door at Jungle Lodge, which belongs to the same family. Champa, who owns Jungle Lodge, was a fantastic hostess and great cook. Green House took us on safari and that was very good. Saw 2 leopards, elephants and lots of birds. Really lovely people.

9.0Santha was very kind, I booked last minute and the room was made up when I got there. It was a big space with no AC but a large fan. The location is near some other accommodations, all within walking distance to a few restaurants and stores. There was a nice balcony and Santha took me and a few others from another hostel on the safari the next day.
− I did get a bit hot at night, but I had closed all of the windows and I'm just used to AC. The beach is about 20 minutes away and I got a weird vibe walking there and around the town, although that's unrelated to the accommodation.
A lovely, peaceful stay with excellent hospitality.
10.0We had a short but lovely stay here. Santha and his family were so welcoming, making us tea and breakfast for our safari, which they can take you on themselves. The room is spacious and you can hear the sound of nature around you. We found all the locals in Kirindi to be especially warm and friendly.
− The only thing I can think of is that the shower didn’t get hot, but in the Sri Lankan heat it really wasn’t an issue at all!
