Rural homestay in a lovely family
9.0The family is really nice. It was exactly what I expected from a rural homestay. They did not speak really well english, but they will make everything to satisfy you and help you.

5.0Checked in room was not the same as booked room. We booked double room with view but was given smaller room inside..
Perfect rural Vietnamese experience with extremely friendly locals.
10.0We were welcomed heartily into the homestay by the family. We were served a home made dinner upon arrival, we just had a 3 hour bike ride from Sapa and the host placed a heating lamp in our room. If you want an authentic feel of life here and are planning to go to the Bac Ha market nearby, this is thé place to go. All communications went through Google Translate by the family's oldest son, as they speak no English.
− If your are accustomed to a big matrass or have back problems, bring your own. For us, this didn't take away anything away from our experience here and we'd love to come back someday.
