We were very comfortable and felt welcome. Nice experience for seasoned travellers like ourselves.
9.0This is a hostel with shared shower and toilet, but the facilities are close to the room and we didn't find that a bother. It is located in a real Japanese family house which is an experience (we usually stay in big hotels), and the family are very helpful. We made our own breakfast in the morning in the family kitchen which was comfortable and convenient for us. We came by car and there is one parking space.
− I find the custom of taking off shoes at the front door tiresome and in a hotel you don't need to do that but in someone's home it is required. Also for using the bath you are supposed to wash first outside of the bath so we only took showers.
