8.03分程一里塚の説明や陣屋の道案内で見送って頂き、電車をやめ西松井田〜横川迄中山道を歩きました。 真っ白なのに何故かモカという名前の上品なワンちゃんや自家栽培の畑に放し飼いの🐓の目玉焼き＆ビーンズ料理等、素朴かつ豊かな生活感を感じました。妙義山が間近に綺麗に見えます。

Fantastic base for some riding.
10.0We stayed here for two nights and hired bikes to ride the 'Perfect Days' loop. Tim and his wife (whose name escapes me right now) were fantastic hosts - very friendly and helpful. The dog and the cat were great company, too. Lots of options for bikes to hire no matter the fitness level. The scenery we rode through was breathtaking - in both senses of the word. The breakfasts were fantastic and set us up for the day. They went above and beyond in helping us navigate the Japanese process when we accidentally damaged our hire car (thank God!).
