A beautiful house, classically furnished and with lovely breakfasts
10.0This is a stunningly beautiful house, built by the owner. The photographs reflect the reality of a gorgeous central marble hall with large airy classic bedrooms opening from this central area. We had rooms with balconies and views of the hills, and I spent happy time reading on mine, listening to the bird calls - a lovely contrast to the endless cacophony of horns in town! We were able to arrange a 2-hour cookery lesson whilst we were there, having discovered that they also run a cookery school! I really recommend this if you are able to fit it in. The garden area has seating with a shallow plunge pool (about 500 mm deep), good for cooling off or reading with your feet in the cold water. A bonus for us was meeting their son, who is a composer and musician as is my own son so they were able to chat and play piano together. Breakfasts were splendid and plentiful and we recommend a stay here if you can get in. It is a little way from the centre, but they will call a taxi or tuk tuk for you and the peace is bliss!

10.0Our recent stay at Radhe Krishna Niwas in Udaipur was exceptional. The place looks amazing - very aesthetic and well-designed - a result of Uncle's years and years of hardwork. Everything feels quite cozy and comfortable. One great thing about the property is that the homestay is located far away from the bustling city market, which just helps you unwind peacefully. The hosts are super friendly and take care of you like family. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly aunty's home-cooked breakfast meals, serving a variety of dishes from their local cuisine. Also, Krishna (who manages the property with his parents) was super helpful, going above and beyond to help us craft the perfect itinerary, and even played the piano for us in between his gruelling practice sessions - definitely, one of the key highlights of our stay. Lastly, Bharat (their househelp) made our stay very comfortable as he catered to every little request of ours! My partner and I had the most relaxing 4 days ever. We totally want to come back again. If you want a peaceful, comfortable place to stay with great food and awesome hosts, this is THE place to book.

10.0Beautifully decorated place with well spacious rooms. The whole place is done in extremely beautiful taste and gives you a very comfortable feeling. The hosts are extremely amicable and would ensure you have a great stay during your time there. The place is around 3-4 kms from the city and is in a peaceful locality. You would need to take an auto to go to the major touristy places, however, that's not a challenge anyway. I was traveling solo and had a great stay here for 3 days. Would surely recommend the place if you are visiting Udaipur.
