Convenient location to my event I was attending.

− Many things with the property! • The lack of cleanliness of the room. The room was infested with several different bug(Roaches, ants, gnats & water bugs that I experience/witnessed; plenty of documented pics). The only small oscillating fan in the room was caked with dust/dirt on it. The provided cups & utensils were stained/dirty. I did not trust using any of them due to that fact. • It was not described in the listing that it was a shared property with other tenants. • No air conditioning • The light switch controlling the ceiling fan over the bed could not be left on without the entrance room light in the room that also was powered by the same switch. • The absolute inconsiderate actions of the host that only offered apologies for the uncleanliness of the property & made it seem that it was my fault for reporting the issue to them, in which they did not offer any compensation for my inconvenience because they had to pay whatever cleaner $80 more to come clean the property like it should have been prior to my stay but still didn't nothing to remedy the bug infestation. The host has zero inkling of what true hospitality is at all & clearly only interested in getting paid, not a satisfactory customer experience or service.

Ok for a couple of days but nothing more than that

The location was great and had easy access to a lot of things. The unit was clean and I liked the use of a code to get in the door. Also, the owner was prompt in replying to questions.

− We did not like the size of the place. It was really just too small to be comfortable in for more than just a day or two. The kitchen area had 2 each of a bowl, fork, knife and spoon. There were no plates, paper towels, dish cloth or dish soap so that we could clean and reuse the dishes that were there. We stayed 5 days so that didn't really work well for us. It would be a good place if you just needed 2, 3 days max but any longer not really. Another issue is that it is quite noisy with neighborhood dogs barking and howling a lot plus every morning a rooster starts crowing usually between 5 and 6 but one morning at 4.

It was clean. The TV streaming services.

− 1) The accommodation, particularly there being only 1 bed, when the booking was for a 2-bed. Our booking confirmation stated: 'Bed sizes: 1 double bed, 1 large double bed'. I messaged the proprietor asking why there was only one bed, & received a reply saying 'Sorry but is just one room, is just one bed'. The following day I sent a long message expressing dissatisfaction with the sleeping and other arrangements. Other residents were equally unclear about this. I received no reply and when I later looked back, saw my message had mysteriously disappeared. I sent a further later message expressing dissatisfaction with our stay and requesting a full refund.’ Interestingly I received a reply within half an hour saying ‘So I sent you a message saying that is only one bed and one sofa bed. Sorry but I can't refund. 2) The facilities. If there was a washing machine and tumble dryer as claimed, none of us there could find them. The shower curtain was too short for the shower so we had to put towels on the bathroom floor to soak up the water that flooded out. 3) The location - it was in the middle of a small, pretty rough housing estate where nearly all the neighbours had one or more guard dogs. The dogs barked and howled much of the time, including during the night.

Not as expected given the off season price per night!

The person dealing with me was very responsive and was flexible with our check in time.

− When we got there most areas we clean and working. But the fridge was left open and smelt musty so I needed to clean it. There was soap,shampoo, and conditioner for the bathroom but no detergent for washing dishes.

Hard to find a place in Haleiwa, so grateful we managed to get this place. Close to amenities and a 15 minute drive to pipeline which is where we spent our days.
