Mooi verblijf, maar de oudere meneer was erg op geld uit wat me aan het einde onveilig liet voelen

Het is een mooie locatie, met prachtig uitzicht. Ook de hutjes zijn leuke, met basis sanitair maar dat is ook waar je voor betaalt. Fijn dat je kan eten bij de homestay!

− Omdat ik ziek was wilde ik een dag eerder naar mijn volgende bestemming, waar mijn vrienden ook zaten op dat moment. Ik had een driver geregeld om me te brengen. Toen die er was kwam de oudere meneer van de homestay naar me toe dat ik hem geld moest betalen, als commissie... toen ik dit weigerde zei hij achter ons aan te gaan rijden totdat ik ging pinnen zodat ik hem geld kon geven. Ik vond dit helemaal niet prettig, en voelde me zelfs een beetje onveilig. Ook wilde hij me mee op tour nemen door de buurt/Lombok. Maar dit zou dan wel 300 US dollar kosten. Ik heb het idee dat hij heel erg op geld uit was. Dit zegt overigens niks over hun zoon, Niki. Hij heeft me erg prettig ontvangen. Maar omdat ik erg ziek was heb ik hem verder niet meer gezien.

Very homey, the owners were really nice and Niki was the greatest guide ! We could meet local people thanks to him and i think it’s one of the bestest way to discover a culture The food was good And waking up in the middle of the rice fields felt really special

− Since it’s very typical and that’s why we enjoyed it, the facilities weren’t the greatest. Very simple ! Also you could hear quite clearly the prayers call and animals in the night But that’s what we signed for!

Amazing family hosts, great experience to stay here

The family that runs this homestay is incredible. The son, Niki, showed us around the area and we had just the most amazing experience and the mother Ebu cooked the tastiest food. It was the highlight of my trip to get to stay here. The location is stunning, in the rice fields with a view of Rinjani out the front gate when it’s clear. The bamboo houses were beautiful and there is a nice outdoor dining area with a view of the rice fields.

Highyl recommend, will return when I come back to Lombok one day.

Amazing family Homestay in a beautiful location

We had the best time staying with Nicki and his family. The bungalows are simple bamboo style and open out on to gorgeous rice fields. Every morning you are greeted with a delicious breakfast and coffee from mum. Nicki and his father Hamdani are very knowledgeable people, it is so easy to spend time talking to them. If you want a genuine local experience you should definitely stay here, and spend the day doing a tour with Nicki. We felt so lucky to stay with such a beautiful family, and to be welcomed in to a village filled with amazing people. We left Farmer homestay with many new friends and family, thankyou for everything and see you again soon ❤️❤️
