Ruhige Lage in zweiter Reihe, kein Lärm von der Straße direkt am Strand. Bäume im Vorgarten. Sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Frühstück konnte bestellt werden, es gab ein einfaches, aber schmackhaftes, indisches "Kerala breakfast", das frisch gekocht wurde. Auf Nachfrage stellte die Vermieterin auch einen Wasserkocher zur Verfügung, so dass wir jederzeit Tee machen konnten. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, auf der Terrasse vor den Zimmern kann man zusätzlich sitzen.

− Im Bad wäre eine kleine Ablage am Waschbecken hilfreich und im Zimmer am Doppelbett nicht nur auf einer, sondern auf beiden Seiten eine Leselampe und Nachtisch schön.

Calm and quiet, in a green garden, off the main road, very clean and comfortable rooms, delicious home-cooked local breakfast, but most of all: the kindest, caring but non-intrusive, heartwarming and inspiring hosts. Close to the beach, but sandy part is about 10min walk away.

Ruhe abseits des Indischen Trubel

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das sogar um 5:00 morgens, die Familie der dieser Homestay gehört ist sehr sympathisch und sehr freundlich und herzlich. Das Frühstück was durch die Familie täglich frisch zubereitet wurde für uns war ausgezeichnet stets lokale Mahlzeiten. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt sehr, die Betten waren auch sehr gut bzw. Für die Temperatur geeignet. :-)Kochi bzw. alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region sind jedoch mindestens 1h entfernt mit Uber, zudem ist Cherai Beach sehr ruhig und bietet eine gute Möglichkeit um sich zu entspannen da auch das Meer nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist von diesem Homestay. Zudem sind auch sehr gute Restaurants und Cafes in der Nähe. Die Zimmer haben ein gutes Badezimmer und haben eine gute Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator. Wodurch man sehr gut schläft.Der Strand war sehr sauber. Die Besitzer vom Homestay waren auch immer zugegen falls man ein Bedürfnis hat.

− Ehrlich gesagt haben wir nichts wirklich was uns nicht gefallen hat! Höchstens einen Vorschlag: Was wir uns wünschen würden wäre ein Wasserkocher und einen Kühlschrank ggf. für die Gemeinschaft oder pro Zimmer.

The room was big and very clean with the option of AC and a ceiling fan. mosquito nets on the windows, a balcony area to sit outside the room. A lovely fresh breakfast is provided on the terrace if you want. each day we had a curry alongside Appams one day and idlis the next. This was our first couple of nights stay in India and I feel we were very lucky to have such a nice place to recuperate and adjust after our flight The family hosting were incredibly friendly and kind and their English speaking daughter Seethal was available to help via phone at any time. Location is good, very tranquil and set back from a quiet road but very near the sea. This is a thin strip of beach at this point and not so easy to access when the tide is in which is mostly. However the beach widens about 15mins walk down the road and has lifeguards, it is a vey nice clean beach, quiet in the day and full of people enjoying the water at sunset. Plenty of food options near the house and lining the road to the main beach too.

We liked to stay at this lovely homestay. The family was very nice to us. They were helpful and caring. We would like to come back to this place if we have a chance. They provide good WI-FI. Breakfast was good. We asked to make it less spicy. They helped us to call a taxi because we didn't have a local sim card. The house is pretty close to the beach. It takes only 5 to 7 minutes to reach the nearest beach. There is a good cafe nearby.

− It's not about the hotel. Just we found it difficult to have fresh fruit because there were no stores nearby. And it's better to change money in advance because there's no money exchange nearby.

Relaxing homestay

We had a lovely time staying at this family run homestay. It was very clean, quiet and set back from the road with a 2min walk to the beach. We felt well cared for by our hosts who are very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious too.
