Amazing location, right off the beach. Beautiful traditional looking house. Staff was helpful in telling us where we could order food from and the breakfast they made was good. House was clean and cleaned well everyday

− The entire outside of the house/ veranda was covered/ surrounded by palm leaves from the roof to the floor which are used to protect the house in the rains. But essentially all we could see from the rooms or the veranda was old black palm leaves.... Nothing like the pictures shared. ..... That was hugely disappointing. We typically book a house while traveling so we have more space ( two families) and have access to basic house necessities so it's easier to manage the children. Even though there is a kitchen, there is no fridge or hot plate or microwave that we could use. There was a fridge where the staff was staying and we could give them stuff to put in but nothing that we could use. Given the setup ( all three rooms need to be booked and no restaurants/ facilities near by) access to a fridge, microwave, single gas/ hot plate/ kettle is essential...... It's painful to call one person every time you want some hot water ( and am sure it's equally irritating for the staff there). It was mentioned that no access to the working kitchen but didn't expect the space we stayed in to be empty of all conveniences.

Nothing, as it was not as advertised

− I have traveled the world, both with work and for pleasure, and as such when I travel I try to book places that might charge a little more, but are of better quality. This was what I expected when I booked SaffronStays Blue Flag House, but it turned out to be the worst place I have ever stayed in. On initial arrival, we were unsure that we were in the correct place as it looked nothing like what was advertised on Booking.com, it was so run down it was unrecognizable. I do not know where to begin to list the problems with the property. On arrival, the property was all locked up and trying to gain access I was confronted by a man, who came from the rear of the property. He spoke hardly any English, but let us in. On entering the property, I was shocked at the state of everything, it looked like it was derelict. There was mold growing over the front of the property, inside was no better as it was dirty and moldy. Stains on the walls from leaking roof. Furniture covered with sheets as they were so stained. The walls black with dirt. Directly at the rear of the property, was a run down house that I later found out was inhabited by 3 men, who spoke little English and randomly roamed around the property, they never introduced themselves, I think due to the language problem Under the bathroom section, it lists that the property has a bath - this is not true. What the bathroom did have was leaking toilet, no water, loose taps and a sink coming loose from the wall. Under the Outdoor section, it lists Picnic area, and outdoor furniture - this is not true. The area around the house was overgrown, and when I went to look at it I slipped in "dog poop" and it was not the only bit I found and as such I could not let the child who was with us go outside. Under the kitchen section it listed a refrigerator - this is not true, there was no refrigerator. Plus many more problems. The owners have been contacted, but refused to follow up !! BE WARNED !!!!!!

Everything was just perfect 👌 we loved our one day getaway at this beautiful property. This is our second visit to this beautiful property and I must say the location staff were their best.

The location of this property was just amazing. It is comparable to beach destinations like Phuket and Bali. The house itself is well structured to receive guests for long stays. The staff managing this property was efficient, polite , helpful and completely customer centric which made the stay so so pleasant and comfortable

− The weather was warm and sultry to begin with and the AC in one of the rooms kept going off due to low voltage issues. We couldn't sleep very well due to that. The bedding and covers provided need an upgrade as it is not comfortable for two people sharing the bed
