A unique experience, with very hospitable and helpful hosts
10.0A unique experience, with very hospitable and helpful hosts. The food was amazing! It’s simply their home, not a typical hotel, which is a big plus as it allows you to better experience the place and the hospitality of the local community. We arrived by car, and parking was no problem. Close to Souss-Massa Park. We only struggled at night with flies, which are quite common in Morocco and tend to buzz around your ear at night, but that’s just how it is everywhere.

8.0We had a lovely 1 night stay in Takad with the family, they were all so so welcoming and friendly. It is simple, rustic, authentic Morocco lifestyle. But great adventure and delicious food. Hopefully we will be back to visit the family one day :)

Wonderful welcoming family stay
10.0Such a wonderful welcoming family. They treated us like part of the family and we ate together in the evenings and talked using Google translate to Arabic and a bit of English and French. We found it so interesting to be in a small village and see daily life in Morocco. All the people we met were so welcoming and friendly. It is a beautiful culture and we would love to come back. The landscape was also beautiful and fascinating. For us the weather was perfect and sunny although the locals were dressed up very warmly in March. The family made us lovely food and were helpful with our diets, (I am gluten free and my partner is vegetarian).
