8.0A cute accommodation with great access to both Fenchihu and Alishan, cute animals, and unique tea picking and firefly watching experiences. If interested in picking tea on the farm, it is recommended to visit April-December so there will be tea ready to pick and to stay at least 2 nights to allow the tea to try and ferment before being ready to package. Overall great stay with lovely memories
A worthwhile local homestay in amongst the tea plantations
8.0The hosts were very helpful and accommodating during our short stay. Due to the limited transport options available to get to Tianyi Homestay, we contacted them and they were able to organise a pick-up for us from a bus stop at Fenqihu. The area where Tianyi is located is peaceful and beautiful amongst the various tea plantations. The homemade breakfast and local Oolong tea included during our stay was a highlight of our trip!
− It can be a bit tricky to get to, so get in touch with the hosts beforehand if you don't think you can catch the bus.

We enjoyed our stay and bought bulk tea and a teapot.
8.0The traditional tea service was very good and interesting. It was nice being able to compare different types of tea. The walk through the tea fields was very enjoyable.
− The yard outside the building could use some tidying. The room was very clean, but it was a very hot day and it took the room a while to cool down that evening.
