Horrible experience – False advertising, dirty, and unsafe

− I booked this "hotel" to store our luggage during a 7-hour layover in Chernivtsi, but it turned out to be a nightmare. First of all, the picture of the entrance is misleading. The door shown is not the hotel entrance but an old back entrance to someone's apartment. A woman in a wheelchair opened the door for us, and we were immediately hit by the darkness, dirt, and awful smell. The owner was friendly, but that didn’t make up for the state of the place. The room was filthy. The bed linens were not fresh, and we found hair on the sheets. Shockingly, the room had a sliding door with no lock, offering zero privacy. To make matters worse, there was a glass door between our room and the next, meaning other guests could easily see us. I had to rely on my husband to cover me while I changed clothes because it felt so unsafe. We didn’t even risk using the bathroom because it was so disgusting. After our stay, I checked other reviews and realized they were similar to our experience – many negative, but not easily visible when booking. We were fortunate that our belongings were still there when we returned, but I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please be careful when booking – trust the negative reviews!
