Disappointed and not meeting expectations at all

− I booked three bungalows for my family with only one double bed in each because we needed the space for our suitcases as we were traveling with a lot of luggage. When we arrived the hosts told us, that the rooms we booked are not available anymore and they only had rooms with two double beds left. Why would you accept a booking when you don't reserve the selected rooms? Anyways, we then moved into the rooms with a spare bed we didn't book and accepted the downgrade. Needless to say that the space was not sufficient for our luggage. When we opened the doors, the second bad surprise awaited us. Since I strongly care about ACs, I called the homestay to make sure that the rooms are equipped with an AC. On the phone I was assured that they do have ACs but when we arrived, we saw that they only had ventilators, which made the night very hard to endure at almost 40 degrees. When we pointed out that we were expecting ACs because we were told on the phone that they do have them, the host simply lied to us and denied the things we were told on the phone. I guess that they just wanted to sell the rooms and hoped that we wouldn't care about false facts. However, we thankfully just stayed one night but the experience was far from satisfactory. If you know what you can expect from the conditions, it would be okay but we felt betrayed and lied to from the beginning to the end. We tried to contact the hosts with constructive feedback, but she was just salty and sarcastic about our comments.

− L'isolation thermique peu efficace quand les températures sont un peu basses mais c'est un homestay pas un hôtel 4*. Peut-être prévoir une couverture d'appoint ?

Die Bungalows sind sehr traditionell und relativ einfach ausgestattet. Dennoch ist es sauber und für eine Nacht ausreichend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Abendessen im Kreis der Familie. Daran sollte man unbedingt teilnehmen.

The place itself is beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. It is clear that they take great pride in keeping everything very clean and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was definitely the family dinner. It was hands down the best food we have had in Vietnam. If you are visiting this area, I highly recommend staying here for an authentic and warm experience.
