Quiet location, close to Ella - definitely recommend.
10.0Lovely family run guesthouse. The guesthouse is walkable from the Ella town but is really calm and quiet. It has a great view of Ella rock. We had a family room which was spacious and clean. We hired a tuk tuk for the day and visited a local waterfall as well as the tea plantation. The owners were very kind and helped us with our bags to get up to the station.

Absolute 10/10 stay! The most hospitable family you could ever ask for 🩷
10.0We had an unforgettable stay at Green Village! The hosts are simply wonderful, so kind, and genuinely caring. We had an super early start at 5:00 AM, and they went above and beyond by preparing a delicious, authentic Sri Lankan takeaway breakfast for us that morning. But it didn't stop there—they even helped us carry our heavy suitcases all the way to the main road. The lovely lady of the house literally flagged down the bus to Kumbalwela for us, asked the driver to wait, and helped us load our bags onto the bus! Her son was also incredibly friendly, sweet, and helpful throughout our stay. You can really feel how much heart this family puts into looking after their guests. If you are looking for a place with amazing hospitality and beautiful souls, book this place without hesitation. Highly, highly recommend! 🌿❤️
