Pleasant stay
7.0Room was clean and spacious, furniture were new, wifi worked well, instructions on how to get to the property were clear, there was a shop downstairs and bus stop nearby
− No hairdryer in the room, the bedding was very wrinkled so I was wondering whether it had really been changed

− When we checked in at 1 pm our room wasn’t ready. It was filthy and just disgusting!!! We contacted the host and he said it will be ready at some point. It wasn’t ready until 6:30 pm 🙁 I have contacted the host the day before and asked if we could drop our bags earlier, before check in at 1pm as we were arriving very early. He said that it is not a problem and he agreed that we could pop in at 12. No one was there at 12. We were waiting there until 1, got the codes to get into property and saw absolut mess in the room. The next day we bought the food, made breakfast and left everything in the fridge. The cleaner throw our food away so we were left with no food, for which we spent money on😤 There is no hot water in the apartment! The kitchen is very poorly equipped, the pots and pans are very old and should not be used for cooking. The host seems to be very apologetic for all what had happened but not helpful whatsoever at the same time. Promising the things which never happened! This morning I got an email that he is hoping we had a lovely stay, I find it a bit rude and ironic. In general I am very easily pleased and this is my first negative comment ever, but I am very disappointed and simply upset by how I was treated. Especially that it was very short stay in Malta and I waste a lot of my time and energy trying to contact the host, organise the place etc. Not recommending that place at all!
