Terrible experience. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property. Despite having a valid reservation, the host denied that any booking existed and threatened to turn my brother away at around 11 PM, even after we provided proof of the reservation. My brother was stranded in London due to airport disruptions and urgently needed accommodation for the night. When I explained that I had made the booking on his behalf and had already provided his phone number, the host accused me of trying to scam her and sent rude, accusatory messages to both of us. After repeated calls, pleading, and even offering to make an additional payment in case Booking.com's payment had not been received, she reluctantly allowed him to stay, but only on the condition that he leave before 9 AM the next morning. The experience with Booking.com was equally disappointing. After a long wait to reach customer support, I was told that if the host refused accommodation they would try to find another property in the area. While that may sound reasonable, it is hardly reassuring to hear at midnight when a traveler is stranded and expecting a confirmed reservation to be honored. To make matters worse, the next morning the host falsely accused my brother of "hosting other guests" simply because she saw him speaking with another guest staying at the property. The entire experience was stressful, hostile, and completely unprofessional. A confirmed reservation should provide peace of mind, not leave guests begging for accommodation in the middle of the night. I would not recommend this property, and this incident has seriously damaged my confidence in Booking.com as well.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Francien und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir haben mit mehreren Leuten in der Unterkunft gewohnt,und trotzdem war die Benutzung der Gemeinschaftsbäder kein Problem. Francien hat ein schönes kleines Haus mit einem kleinen Garten, den wir auch zim Frühstücken nutzen durften. Sie gab uns Tipps für Unternehmungen und erkundigte sich jeden Tag,ob es uns gut geht.

− Das schmale Bett war bisschen ungewöhnlich, aber das ging wahrscheinlich nicht anders durch die Bauweise des Hauses. Wir haben uns arrangiert.
