10.0We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. It's true that there is no air conditioning, but that becomes a very minor detail because of the incredible kindness and hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. They made us feel less like guests and more like part of their family. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. If you're looking for an authentic place where human kindness matters, this is the perfect choice. We would gladly come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and heartfelt experience. Thank you for everything!
Amazing host and strategic place to visit around
10.0We stayed here for three nights and had an amazing experience. Nuwan is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome from the very beginning. He lives here with his two lovely children, his wife—an incredible cook whose homemade meals are absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying—and the grandparents, who are all incredibly kind and welcoming. The whole family goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Staying here felt like being part of the family. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

10.0Nuwan und seine Familie waren sehr gastfreundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht uns schöne Ecken und Orte im Dorf zu zeigen und Tipps zu geben. Auch das einheimische Essen war sehr lecker!

10.0We are currently on a tour of Sri Lanka and have stayed in several hotels, but this one was truly top-notch and comes with our highest recommendation. Our hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, always available for us, and gave us an amazing number of tips—they even accompanied us to a viewpoint. There was hot water with good pressure, a fan and mosquito net, and a fabulous breakfast… not a single wish went unfulfilled. We are extremely grateful that we had the chance to stay here.

8.0Nuwan was very helpful to us, he and his family are very nice and lovely. The food was delicious and we could also ways ask for more or any options. We would recommend anyone to stay at the green jungle if you are searching for a very authentic and quiet experience in Sri Lanka.
− The smell of the room was a little bit penetrating and we were missing an AC.
