Good value, simple accommodation with helpfull staff
10.0If you are looking for a budget base to explore Bromo, it is an ideal location. Accommodation is simple but comfy and clean. Staff is helpfull, they were able to help arrange crater permit on my evening arrival. There is good small "restaurant" just in front, that serves a nice meal to the hotel table. The small "town" market below the accommodaton has all the shops and food stops you might need.
− Double check directions on google if you are riding a bike, it is important that you go through Tosari, as it night navigate you up the slope on ever nimbling backcountry roads.... I had to retrace my steps.... AND I must have rtun into some celebrations, bwcause the festive music was blasting till midningt just below the accommodation. I guess this was just a one off, but as I stayed only for 1 night, I can't be sure....
