Sri and her Family and Staff were so nice to us, perfect stay. VERY IMPORTANT: CONTACT SRI FIRST!!! She can arrange a CHEAP (probably the cheapest) TRANSPORT from and to the Place and also can arrange MANY ATTRACTIONS to your Liking - from visiting local people, the local school, coffee and brown sugar plantations, remote private jungle treks, traditional dances and many more authentic experiences!!! Just CONTACT HER before your stay and you will have an incredible experience there, that you will never forget. Incredibly kind people everywhere, 100 % recommended! Must book!

− We didnt know about the many experiences and the cheap transport there before so dont repeat our mistake and CONTACT SRI! You will not regret it, trust me.

Prima accommodatie, schandalig dure ‘excursie’

Nette accommodatie. Mooie omgeving.

− Voelen ons opgelicht rondom de excursie die de eigenaresse voor ons regelde. We hebben meerdere excursies gedaan in Indonesië en betaalden altijd 300.000 tot 500.000 rupiah pp voor een privé excursie inclusief eten en drinken. Hier moesten we ineens 1.350.000 rupiah pp betalen voor alleen de ochtend excursie naar de schildpadden en dat bedrag was exclusief eten en drinken. De chauffeur sprak geen Engels, het nationale park bleek een plantage en de ranger was er niet dus we stonden alleen, zonder uitleg, op het strand met een emmertje schildpadden. Het had dus niets met een excursie te maken. We hadden voor €300,00 een auto, chauffeur en emmer schildpadden gekregen en dat was het. Niet acceptabel en dat hebben we aangegeven bij de eigenaresse. Ter compensatie van het ontbreken van de ranger kregen we korting. Heel netjes en daarmee dachten we het toch nog een beetje met een prettig gevoel af te sluiten, maar niets was minder waar. Doordat de excursie zo duur was en je niet kan pinnen hadden we onvoldoende rupiah. We zouden daarom in euro’s betalen. Het bedrag was vooraf afgesproken en daar ging dus korting vanaf omdat de ranger er niet was. Toen we wilden betalen hanteerde de eigenaresse ineens een andere wisselkoers waardoor de korting minimaal werd.

As if that weren’t enough, she creates authentic culinary wonders of Indonesian cuisine, tailored to your preferences—whether you prefer meat dishes or a vegetarian diet. All this comes at very low prices—even compared with other local homestays. Adventure Turtle Homestay Meru Betiri is one of the most remarkable places I have ever been, and I would love to come back.

Sentirsi come a casa!

Da Sri ci siamo sentiti come a casa, dal nostro arrivo fino alla partenza. Abbiamo alloggiato qui 3 notti, approfittando anche del tour a Sukamade beach. Il tour è ben organizzato e, anche se piuttosto costoso, vale davvero la pena farlo. Ma la cosa bella di questa struttura sono le persone, in primis Sri che è una padrona di casa eccellente e una cuoca fantastica che ci ha fatto assaggiare diverse specialità di Giava. Chiacchierando con lei abbiamo imparato un sacco di cose sulla cultura e le tradizioni del posto. E' stata un'esperienza bellissima anche per tutte le persone del villaggio che abbiamo incontrato che sono state tutte accoglienti e calorose, molto curiose di vederci camminare per le bellissime stradine nei dintorni della guest house.

Sri est une personne très souriante et sympathique, tout est fait pour que l on soit à l aise. Elle prépare de bon repas et prend en compte les goûts de chacun. On est accueilli comme des amies. Nous avons apprécié Nadia sa nièce qui nous a accompagné lors de l excursion du parc meru betiri. Je conseille vivement la réservation ici, le mieu est calme, nous avions notre véhicule de location puis ce que nous avons fait un tour de java de 3500km sur 1 mois en juillet 2025. Le stationnement y est possible. Franchissez le cap, vous aussi prenez vitre propre véhicule et sortez des sentiers. L aventure est belle et ici nous avons trouvé l authenticité tout autour du homestay
