It was great to meet the landlord who shared alot in common with myself and is polite and personable
10.0Having experienced a relationship breakdown I've been staying in reasonably priced temporary accomodation. I arrived at Hampton House and was pleased to meet the landlord Jas who is a very nice man with a good personality and great organisational skills in his work as a host to guests in his house of multiple occcupancy. The house is comfortable, warm and has excellent shared facilities. All areas of the house are immaculately clean with all mod cons available. The decor is artful and interesting to observe. It is clear that the landlord works very hard to ensure an excellent hospitality experience for guests. Top marks.

Avoid like the plague
1.0the location was fly tipped in the street
− The host lied about pets allowed and tried to tell me There were no pets allowed for 7 years after rudely texting me. The host let me in with my 3kg quiet dog. I had to screen shot his page to prove him wrong. I was told to take off my shoes and as I did so the host walked past and broke wind in my face. Another man in the house was laughing and shouting down a phone until past 2am. The host also denied this man was even in his house. The furniture is from the 1980s and I was rudely texted for leaving 100ml of dog water out. I booked this property for 2 nights to visit a pal in hospital in Northampton. I was so put off by my first night there I moved to IBIS for the second night of my stay. The host takes absolutely no responsibility for his other guests. I suspect the shouting telephone man had paid up front for a duration and the host simply lied instead of facing up to the problem. One lie led to another and another like a naughty child would behave.

The odd place!
8.0Unexpected position in estate but surprisingly good. Clean, newly decorated, but basic. Convenient location. We slept really well. Parking and dog friendly, walks near the house. Found excellent breakfast round the corner. Will go again.
− Small bedroom and desk/dressing table in need of replacement..shared bathroom , but didn't seem anyone else sharing it.

10.0Jas was a fantastic host, made me feel welcome and at home, we had a similar sense of humour. Highly recommended place to stay, spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm, extremely good value for money. If I'm in the area again I will be returning. Thanks Jas
