A comfortable apartment near Garmisch and Mittenwald.
8.0The apartment was clean, kitchen well equipped and the shower over the bath was excellent. Ample heating when required. The area is quiet.
− The two skylights in the main bedroom allowed too much light in as soon as the sun came up. The second bedroom is extremely small which could be an issue for families.

9.0We loved the location, it is definetely suitable for families with kids or people who want to have a quiet holiday, even elderly people. There are beautiful walks for which you do not need to use a car. Our favourite: Leutascher Geisterklamm (6 km to get there) , Karwendelschlucht (a stunning view just 3 km far up the Isar river and then up to the left) and our family enjoyed Kneippanlage (only 1,5 km up the Isar river). As for the apartment, we felt very comfortable, it was well equipped (no microwave though) and had a good vibe - we loved the balcony. We cooked proper dinners easily and could do some little shopping in the village but we prefered Lidl or Aldi in Krün. There is also Penny in nearby Mitterwald but it is smaller and kind of stuffy.
