Beautiful but terribly overpriced stay.

The view and location were great. The room was spacious.

− Stairs in the room were a bit steep with a toddler. There is a charge for EVERYTHING that is not disclosed upfront. As an example, the property is advertised to include a washing machine, but this means that the host will wash and dry your laundry for you at a very exorbitant rate (it is made out as though this is being included in the room rate by the host, so nothing disclosed upfront). We were also offered a late check-out, which we thought was because they were not booked for the next night, but this was then charged at 60 euros, on top of the already lavish fee we paid to stay there. It is not worth the price to be fair, with no meals or any extras included.

Mrs. & Mr. Thurner above all are wonderful hosts. On the day of our arrival, due to a snowstorm and the fact that we didn’t have snow chains, we had difficulty reaching the accommodation. Mr. Thurner kindly came to pick us up with his own car, which we truly appreciated. The apartment is in a beautiful location with a stunning view of the lake. It is peaceful and relaxing the perfect place to unwind. The apartment is spacious, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Thank you for your hospitality. We highly recommend staying here!

Postcard views and a very comfy place with friendly hosts

Great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake. The hotel provides two rowing boats for free usage. This was a lot of fun! :) There is also a little playground with a swing and a slide for the little ones. Bring some old bread to the lake to feed the ducks. The apartment was super clean, spacious and very comfortable. The view of the lake was to die for. There is also a small terrace where you can have your breakfast outside enjoying the view. Only one TV at the living room, which is great in my opinion, as the kids stay active instead of watching TV. There are 3 beds for kids, one is a bunk bed. The owners are very, very friendly and helpful. I would be back in a heart beat.

− The bed was a bit noisy for my taste. I woke up several times at night because of turning around. But anyway, this was not really an issue. Also, payment was kind of difficult to accomplish if you are not from Europe, as they do not take credit cards. A friend from Europe had to transfer half of the money, and the other half we had to pay cash at the check-out.

Hosts were super friendly and warm. Place is clean, very close to waterfront, ample parking space, good wifi and well equipped kitchen.

− Check out should be noon instead of 9 30. But not a big issue.

Loved the house/apartment that was modern but also cosy, with beautiful views. It had everything we needed and very helpful hosts.
