Beautiful location and view of the small town and grassy fields. John was very welcoming and hospitable. The house was very well set out and decorated and included many spots to have a relaxing sit both inside and outside where we could appreciate the views. The kitchen and pantry was stocked with anything and everything. The property was very well enjoyed by everyone in our group.

− The parking situation with 3 cars was a little bit difficult due to the very steep hill entrance. However, it was a very minor issue.

Stunning property with top class inclusions, immaculately clean and all beds and linen totally comfortable. Location is beautiful and serene - valley views were food for the soul and hosts added thoughtful and high quality inclusions / wine and yummy local produce. Property also has a 7kw EV charger which was great for my car. Can recommend staying here - fabulous property and you will be very satisfied with your choice.

We loved the house, the massive living area, the cleanliness and the quality of the items within the house - from the beds through to the TVs and kitchen. Being able to walk to the local pub for a great dinner experience, and into the town to wander around. Part of the reason for our stay was related to a dog show in Bermagui - so we have a range of dogs with us, so the pet friendly component was ideal for us with secure fencing, places for the dogs to run and all the equipment etc to clean up after them.

Everything. There were five of us and we had an absolutely fabulous visit to Tilba and the Sapphire Coast and the Valley House had much to do with it (the fabulous weather helped to). John, our host, met us and bent over backwards to ensure we had a good visit. The house is spacious, very thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed and had a great pantry that John encouraged us to use. The bathrooms were also well set up. The house is surrounded by a lovely well-tended garden. There was chicken coop (John told us to help ourselves to any eggs) and views across the gully to his little flock of sheep who grazed contentedly. It was a pleasant five minute walk up a private drive to get to the pleasures of Central Tilba (which includes the Sweetwater Smokehouse and the terrific Hotel Dromedary, both of which serve great meals). As they say in the classics, do yourself a favour, grab a crew of friends, book the Valley House and have a marvellous holiday on the Sapphire Coast.
