The location was great, the town house was quiet large and easy to find.

− Sheets and towels are not provided, which wasn't written anywhere when booking. There were quite a few cockroaches throughout the house, as well as cockroach traps in very clear places that children can get. The balcony furniture was quite rusted and not stable. The patio had large long weeds and no furniture to use the space. Overall, the entire place was quite dusty and not well maintained.

Great location right on Casey’s beach. The front kitchen, dining, lounge area and balcony both provide amazing views of the sunrise over the water. Plenty of space with each room quite seperate from the rest and good sized bathrooms.

− Sadly we didn’t read the fine print on this listing and didn’t realise there was no linen provided - no towels, no bath mats and no sheets. Luckily Kmart was still open when we arrived, but still an additional expense that you don’t expect from a short stay. Not having wifi isn’t a deal breaker for us but most of the house also has limited reception. We stayed in the middle of a heatwave, and unfortunately the aircon didn’t seem to be working well so it was almost as hot inside the house house - thankfully there were fans tucked away in the bedroom closets. Parking was made harder by overgrown landscaping, we didn’t even attempt the garage.

− After payment was made we were supposed to get code for lockbox. Checkin was at 2pm we didn’t receive the code. Called 15 times and finally someone answered the phone after an hour. We also couldn’t get the stove top to work called a couple of times but received no reply.

The view from the front room was nice. Looks out over the bay (albeit with a power pole and wires one field of view). 800 m walk to a cafe. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the unit is spacious.

− The place had not been cleaned after the last guests. Food scraps in the floor, clumps of hair and dirt, bathrooms unclean. Deck was covered in leaf litter, chairs had cobwebs and leaf litter and table covered in dust. Discovered the hot water was not tuned on when I got a lukewarm shower. The place also needs maintenance. Holes in the front screen sliding door fly screens. The screen doors are so old they don’t slide. You have to jiggle them along to open and close. They don’t close properly so heaven help you when there are mozzies about. Some pot plants on deck half dead. I took pity on them and watered them. The fridge was missing the lower racks in the door so we had to take a rack out to be able to stand our milk upright. Microwave doesn’t seem to work properly. ‘Gardens’ completely overgrown with weeds and half dead from lack of watering. I would find a better property manager if I was the owners. When I complained about the lack of cleaning they sent someone out who vacuumed and mopped but still did not clean the bathrooms. I ended up doing it myself. Next door property had a dog that yapped incessantly. The apartment also sits on a really busy road and the traffic noise was constant through the day. We were also told in the original email that there was no parking but luckily that was incorrect. There is a garage and a parking space in front yard of each unit. Luckily as it is a no stopping zone for half a km in each direction.
